Nestled in Al-Manara and amidst the chaotic proliferation of skyscrapers, Sporting Club stands as a beacon of resistance to modern trends, preserving its distinct charm as a cornerstone of urban heritage.

This cherished establishment stirs deep Nostalgia among locals, symbolizing the enduring allure of Beirut's golden era and its enduring identity. Today, it's celebrated as "Beirut’s Beacon of Faded Glamour," a club that is still alive after 71 years.

Offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, the iconic limestone formations of Pigeon Rocks Bay, and the grottos at Beirut’s core, serving as a reminder of the city's picturesque beauty and historical depth.
Sporting has become an emblem of Beirut welcoming a diverse crowd from seasoned fishermen to young generations coming to tan or catch up with friends during golden hour, to cheerful men engaged in backgammon wearing straw hats, and loyal patrons who frequent the club throughout the year, savoring their Almaza beers taking a dip in the ocean, regardless of the season.

From getting the best summer tans to watching the most beautiful sunsets, sporting has become a place for all. From teenagers to eldery to fishermen, sporting has been passed down and continues to live from one generation to the next. One thing about being Lebanese is, once the suns out, you’ll find everyone out on the streets happier than ever.

Sunny Beirut just feels different.
